This pre-engineered building utilizes the long sweeping form of its community and admin spaces to soften the impact of the large field house behind. The entrance is marked at the peak of this slope by a lantern. Polycarbonate panels provide diffused light to the lobby during the day and a beacon in the park in the evening. The compressing slope of the fitness room guides patron's views down the adjacent hill to the forest and creek below.
